Education:
Mr. Cooper received his B.A. from the School of Business Administration with a Major in Finance from the University of Notre Dame in 1965. His Juris Doctor Degree was conferred in 1968 at the State University of New York. From the initiation of his practice, Mr. Cooper has and will continue to attend numerous legal seminars and workshops to keep abreast of the ever changing trends in the law.
Experience:
Mr. Cooper is admitted to practice in both New York State and Florida, and as such is admitted to all courts in those states. He is also admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Western District of New York and the United States Supreme Court. As a former Assistant U.S. Attorney, Mr. Cooper has also briefed and argued in civil and criminal law matters including work as a trial attorney. Mr. Cooper has also served as Legislative Counsel in the N.Y. State Legislature and as a Confidential Law Clerk to a New York State Supreme Court Justice. Mr. Cooper is also a currently licensed Florida Real Estate Broker and Title Insurance Agent for Attorney's Title Insurance Fund, Inc.
Personal:
Mr. Cooper was married to the former Yvonne Carlson in 1970, has four adult children, and currently resides in Jupiter, Florida.
